Project Requirement

A website with easy to access product specification, datasheet and enquiry management system.

A website and mobile app that will allow users to book 'car transport, Household transport, and Office transfer' right on the app without waiting for a quotation and several calls from transport partners.

the client has an idea to build a transport services booking portal that will offer booking on the 'Running Trucks" on the basis of its 'Route' and "Vacant space" for each stoppage along with the easy option for drivers to get pickup location, drop-points and GpS based tranking for users.

They want to offer booking services without any quotation services which is an ongoing method for all transport booking portals.

They also want to offer 'quick quotation' to clients if no truck is running on the requested route on a requested date' on the basis of distance and average miles prices added by the transport service provider.


The major challenge with this project was identifying the "Available space" between two drop-points and offering booking options to a client on the basis of their Geo location and running trucks route pickup, drop-off points, and running date.

After having more than 10 discussions with the client, we finalized the MVP (minimum vital product) and its flow for all users:

Clients- looking for car/household/ office transport services

Transport companies - Companies registered with the portal to offer transportation services 

Drivers -  Drivers of transport companies running the trucks.

PikShip Amin - Super admin of portal to manage and review, clients, transportation company and bookings.

To build this unique solution with transport industries, we reviewed and study about transport services, their process, and what challenges 'client' and 'transport companies face with online booking and services.

It takes 8 weeks to define the flow of each module and structure of the application before we pen down the 'project scope' for development.
